CodexStats is a macOS developer tool that analyzes local Codex usage history. This Privacy Policy explains how CodexStats handles data.

1. Data the App Processes

CodexStats may read local Codex session files from a folder selected by the user. These files may include:

CodexStats uses this data to calculate local usage statistics, prompt quality scores, category summaries, recommendations, and optional review information.

2. Local-First Processing

Basic usage analysis is processed on the user's Mac.

CodexStats does not automatically upload Codex session contents to the developer or to any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking service.

CodexStats does not modify Codex cache files. The app uses read-only access to the Codex folder selected by the user.

3. Optional Team Server Upload

CodexStats includes an optional team dashboard upload feature.

If the user manually configures a team server URL and starts an upload, selected report data may be sent to that server. The uploaded report may include question summaries, token usage, categories, recommendations, AI review text, and related metadata.
